Let us us all join in prayer that:

- May all the plans of MAN trying to hinder the purposes of God to be accomplished at this camp, be abolished in Jesus’ Name.

GroundBreakers...17 DAYS TO GO

17 days to go to the BCYD National Camp marks the opening day of the BCSA Annual Assembly held at the prestigious Prestige College well renowned in the Baptist circle for producing prestigious GroundBreakers like the current member of the Central Gauteng BYD committee, Nthabiseng "Barbie doll" Segage(u aint heard that from me).

Yours truly is looking forward to bonding with fellow GroundBreakers more than anything.

Thanx to those who have already paid for the camp, your response is overwhelming...if you are still thinking of paying on the 27th of December, may the Lord have mercy on you, as you might follow the camp on Facebook#TRUTH#...my advise is that you deposit the registration fee(R700) now, then you'll sort the transport with your region.

GroundBreakers...21 DAYS TO GO

91726 people were there, yours truly summed up the figures to 91727, the stage was set, the greatest soccer derby in Africa, the Soweto Derby in a cup final, at the historic Soccer city, then from a distance I saw the dreadlocked Tshepo from Moroka Baptist Church (hopefully no relation to the hearbreaking Moroka Swallows), marshalling the masses, then I said "THIS IS THAT"....

This is that which was envisioned by the BCYD committee, "The 2010 BCYD National Camp in 3D" one to be spoken of in generations to come...

But in order for us to host such an event, the R700 Registration fees must be deposited into our account a.s.a.p, the venue must be paid for before we reach the campsite....PLEASE contact your regional leaders & myself (0825589772) or Dondo on FB for making payment arrangements.

Lookout for "Le Grand opening" of the camp, we have a suprise for you plus the BCYD 4-1-1 cameras will be all over the campsite 24/7 for Daily Highlights of the camp on our FB Group...dont be caught!!!!!!

GroundBreakers Tick - Tock

It is evident that the GroundBreakers are not using the Benjamin Button's anti-clockwise watch, as we are few hours from the cut-off date of our R650 camp registration fee, as from the 1st of December 2010 our Camp registration fee will be R700, much to the delight of our Treasurer General.

We thank God for those who already paid for the camp, word on the street is that some BCYD young people took the GroundBreaking message to the extreme as they will be GroundBreaking even as far as hairstyles are concerned, im not mentioning names as BCYD cant endure a lawsuit, but seeing the National President (Elias) with a "Mo-hawk" might create enough amusement for the camp.

Look out for our 27 days COUNT DOWN starting from the 1st of December 2010.

BCYD 4-1-1

The Lord graced us on Saturday at Ekangala, as barriers of ignorancy were broken, Groundbreakers were unleashed.

It can't be done? Thats exactly what GroundBreakers are called for...

If you are still drunk with the old BYCD wine(mentality), you might not understand what God is doing in this hour, "Behold it's a New Day!"

We managed to solicit an ongoing partnership with NYDA, from now on. Safira Mdhluli & her committee will be working with NYDA on youth projects in areas around Witbank to Kwaggafontein, we thank the Lord for such an exposure.

Valuable business insight was accumulated at this Extravaganza as well as the Job Preparedness workshop was out of this world...our Generation, our Portion...Groundbreakers!!!!

Join us as we partner with National Youth Development Agency & Kungwini Municipality to bring you the Career & Entrepreneurship Extravaganza, as we "Prepare the Way" for a new generation of GROUNDBREAKERS, who will hold their own in the markert place, as kings speaking the language of a King.

GROUNDBREAKERS "Prepare ye the Way" (Isaiah 40:3)

Subject: BCYD 4-1-1

"I was in the Spirit on the Day of the Lord, then I heared a Voice as of a trumpet" (Revelations 1.10)

Great North BYD was in the Spirit on the day of the Lord, the weather was perfect, contrary to the stereotypical perception of weather in Venda, Lwamondo was divinly visited.

From the former Mpumalanga BYD president, Victor who was named "Mulalo" by locals, to the BCYD National Deputy President, the event was termed "Career Serminar", I needed enough spiritual stamina to be a carrier of his quickening word for the day.

We were blessed to witness the inauguration of Tondani "Bruce" as the new Great North BYD President.

The Word for the Serminar was "to what shall I compare this generation?" (Matthew 11:16-17)....our answer is GROUNDBREAKERS

BCYD is getting ready like John, 3 days to the East(ern) Cape BYD conference & 3 days to the (Great)North BYD Career Seminar to be held at Lwamondo,Venda.

Our eyes/ears/spirit, will be at these particular events on Heritage day.

100 days to the Groundbreakers Summer Camp

"Prepare ye the Way"

We are in the last Groudbreaking 100 days before the Mother of all Camps, there is a trumpet being blown, it is a call to Prayer, a call for Repositioning ourselves for the great outpouring of the Spirit the Lord has for this Groundbreaking Generation, our portion.

We urge everyone to go through our burden- scripture "The voice of the one crying in the wilderness,Prepaye ye the way for the Lord" which is found in Isaiah 40:3-5, let us all go through this portion of scripture as a way of starting our prayer for the camp, allow Him to lead u & guide u into all requests you might have for the camp, using this scripture.

We will keep on posting other prayer items as we continue with our count down.

You can go to our BCYD National Camp event and write prayer requests on our Facebook wall.

Groundbreaking is our portion!!!!!!!!!

BCYD 4-1-1

From the 26th to the 28th of June 2010, +/- 155 km from Polokwane, +/- 135 km from Pretoria, Modimolle, formerly known as Nylstroom, was the midpoint for the gathering of Capricorn BYD Rally, in a province perceived to be extremely hot by the stereotyped, my jeans refused to have thermal interaction with my legs, as it froze like a normal day in Iceland, here was I, at Nylstroom Lodge, in the early hours of the morning.

The rally was well attended by the youth as well as graced by the visit of young people from Central & Mpumalanga region, the Capricorn Regional BYD “incoming – President” (Metse), is well aware of the task ahead of him.

This past weekend, we had the two Gauteng regions holding their regional rallies, the Southern region’s was held at Kagiso BC while the Central’s was held near Brits. Elections were held at both rallies, with bro. Tebogo Gaduke being elected the Southern regional President while Bro. Mpho Chauke was elected the Central BYD President.

Well the mantle upon the BCYD is becoming clearer & nearer, the last hurdle will be the National summer camp to be held in Mpumalanga from the 27th December 2010 to the 2nd January 2011.

The one word that can describe what is going on in our country at this hour is “Patriosm”, which means love & devotion/loyalty to one’s country, the word comes from Greek “Patris”, which means fatherland.

Our main prayer item is not that Bafana Bafana win tomorrow (11th of June 2010), but that we maintain the very same spiritual covering the Lord has bestowed on us for this time in memorial, that our shores may not be polluted by unfamiliar spirits & that we be the greatest hosts of the world. No chancers will manipulate this opportunity to their advantage.

May this event serve as a shadow of what is to come spiritually for us South Africans, that we will be a spiritual hub for nations, a Bethesda for the world.

As for tomorrow’s opening game, all we can say is : “The race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong, because ALL are awarded the same chance/time”, as during the time of Nehemiah, we shall hold a Bible in one hand & a vuvuzela in the other hand while saying “HO JEWA BATHO”

Watch & Pray…Phillip…he is here!

BCYD touching the sky..ijo.. jo… jo..Watch & Pray!

Dear Bretheren, please join us in person (if possible) or in spirit as we bid Metse & Safira farewell tonight, the duo who have recently bonded like Alexandra & dust(pun intended), will be jetting out of the country tonight enroute Germany to attend the German Baptist Union 2010 BUJU (Youth camp).

Of interest tonight will be what kind of Skhafthini will the Pedi boy & the Ndebele girl be carrying (someone should have alerted that their air tickets include meals), eish I envy them now.

Well as the BCYD committee on behalf of our youth nationally, will like to wish the pair a spiritual fun-filled, networking & learning experience in Germany and that may they represent our department & country well in Europe.

We will like to urge those who have their contacts to send them farewell messages (since the thought of boarding a plane might give one stomach cramps…LOL, God forbid)

Our next stop: Mpumalanga on the 18th of June, regional rally!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freedom Day

We appreciate the efforts by politicians who fought for political "freedom", which was supposedly attained from 27th April 1994.

However we will like to use this day to remind you of the greatest freedom of all:

"Romans 8:1-2...There is therefore no condenmnation to those who are in Christ, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit, for the of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me FREE from the law of sin & death"

We thank God for the highest form of freedom, thus freedom from sin & death, sin has no power of us anymore.

Thank You Jesus!

Souther Gauteng BYD

The Southern Gauteng Summer Camp was a blast!

God ministered in a powerful way through the sermons by Ps Vuyo Langa and in different forms. The worship team kept the fire burning in all the evening celebrations and we learnt a lot through the workshops about serving and leading which were encouraged participation and teamwork through working in groups and presentations. One of the highlights was the generation of 25 ideas around what could be done during the world cup and eliminating the 23 ideas and were left with 2 which would be carried out by the region during the tournament. The games afforded us an awesome opportunity to bond with and get to know each other better.

The activities included:

1. Workshops

Saved to Serve, Leadership, 2010 Evangelism

2. Talk Show

3. Southern Gauteng has got Talent Show

4. Games

Soccer, Volleyball, Aerobic, Hiking (walking up the mountain), Swimming, Treasure, Hunting, Boom Fire

We are confident God has laid a strong foundation for the region to flourish this year.
