BCYD Regional Camps 2011/12 and Happy New Year!!!

Dear Groundbreakers,

2012 is already a week old and we all thank God for the good start we all had together and we look forward of what the Lord has planned for us as BCYD!

We had the priviledge to see many of you at the different regional camps, below are some random facts of our presidential tour:

- All together we drove over 1400KM
- We sat around 16 hours squeezed together in a car
- Visiting 4 camps from 5 regions in 6 day's
- spending time with around 260 young people
- celebrating the last day's of 2011 and the first of 2012 together
- Slept for a night on the floor
- Helped pulling a car out of a ditch

We want to send to all of you a big "THANK YOU" for all the hard work you do and the great time we had together with many of you.

What would summer be without a CBYD camp!

CBYD Summer Camp '11 will be held at Prosper Guest Farm in Koster, approximately 150km from Pretoria from 27 December '11 - 02 December '12. 

Our theme for the duration is: He calls me friend. -Gen 18:1-33 (please check my profile picture, tag yourself and change yours to it)

T-shirts and The Blurb (newsletter) will be on sale soon!

The cost of the camp is R900 (transport, accommodation, activities and food) before end-November wit a deposit of R300 becoming due from now. It will cost R1000 as of 01 December should you fail to pay in the deposit by end-November.

BCYD Roadtrip to Regional Baptist Youth Rally EC 7-9 Oct 2011

Dear Groundbreakers, The "brother's keeper programm" is part of the new BCYD strategy plan for the next years. National and regional youth leaders want to practically support each other's youth ministry in different ways. Therefore 13 young people drove together around 28 hours (~2266km) to take part in the Eastern Cape regional youth rally.
We had a great, fun, challenging, growing, celebrating and wonderful time together. We praise our Lord and Saviour for the experience and thank God for a save trip and an awesome journey!

Central Winter Rally 2011 "From Faith to Action"

The CBYD had an awesome winter rally, and we want to share with all of you some bits & pieces of the experience.

CBYD Winter Rally 2011...WHAT NOW?faith2action..DIE BRAAMBOS was on fire on the 1st-3rd of July as young people stepped on a higher level in every aspect of their lives...great food, booming services, insightful workshops..CBYD has graduated...GOD IS OUR PORTION!! -Princess Namethe



CBYD #WR'11 WHAT NOW?! FROM FAITH TO ACTION...Through frozen weather conditions God came through! Heaven exploded, we were left with FULL bellies, OVERFLOWING spirits, RENEWED hearts, REFUELED minds, SOLID visions, OPEN minds...and JESUS as the CENTRE OF THE CENTRAL REGION. pushthewaters! -Nthabiseng Michelle Segage



CBYD winter rally was too much fun, met new people and played great games. On a more serious note, we were there because we had an appointment with the Lord!!! The word was very fruitful and I think I speak for most of us when I say we will never be the same again... We have learnt that when you are faced with problems 2 flip the water back and keep swimming until we get 2 the other end!!! Winter Rally 2011 From Faith To Action!!!! -Tebogo Thobakgale
