VACANCY
INTERN: VIDEO LIBRARY x1

THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS
(Preference will be given to EE candidates and people living with disabilities)

SuperSport Media Solutions division seeks to appoint a suitably qualified individual to assume the role of INTERN: Video Library on a 12 MONTH INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME, in order to provide professional services to an array of internal clients. Reporting to the Manager: Media Library & Archives, this position is based at our Randburg facilities.

CONTEXT
External factors which will influence the work environment taking future conditions and strategic requirements into account:

CUSTOMERS
External individuals or groups as well as individuals or groups within the organisation to whom products, services, programmes and information is provided.

·           SuperSport

·           MultiChoice
·           External Broadcasters
·           Production companies
·           Various other internal & external suppliers and clients.

OUTPUTS
Services and information which the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organisation’s mission and strategy.

·         Support for Projects
·         Log delivery and Ardome monitoring
·         Tape dispatch
·         Customer Service
·         Providing customers with required library content-physical and digital
·         Updating, shelving and filing of library content and documentation.
·         Maintain or improve existing client relationships

KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS

·         Matric (Grade 12) or NQF 4 qualification
·         Preference will be given to EE candidates and people living with disabilities, who have completed qualification in Media Studies, Broadcasting, Audio Visual, Video Technology (Higher Education or FET) or any relevant qualification
·         Proficiency in English, spoken and written
·         Computer Literate (Ms Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer)
·         Knowledge of Television Operations will be an added advantage

SuperSport Media Solutions division seeks to appoint suitably qualified individuals to assume the role of INTERN: TRANSFER & INGEST FACILITIES on a 12 MONTH INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME, in order to provide professional services to an array of internal clients. Reporting to the Manager: Transfer & Ingest, these people will be based at our Randburg facilities.

CONTEXT

CUSTOMERS
External individuals or groups as well as individuals or groups within the organisation to whom products, services, programmes and information is provided.

·         Supersport

OUTPUTS
Services and information which the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organisation’s mission and strategy.

·         Execute Ingest/Transfers operations according to the ingest workload plan
·         Ingest programmes from various tape formats to various server platforms
·         Check and maintain technical quality of ingested content
·         Manage traffic flow to/from encoders and identify audio and video defects
·         Manual and automated routing via routing switcher
·         Fault reporting

SuperSport Media Solutions division seeks to appoint suitably qualified individuals to assume the role of INTERN: Multi Channel Control Room on a 12 MONTH INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME, in order to provide professional services to an array of internal clients. The position is based at our Randburg facilities.
